**Job Title**:Systems Engineer - SAP AWS/ Devops

As a Systems Engineer in Core Banking Crew, you’ll be responsible for the ongoing development of test assets by adopting best practice and innovative approach in experimenting with emerging tools and technologies. You will contribute to the financial well-being of our customers by ensuring that our team builds the best solutions possible using modern development and testing practices that ensure both functional and non-functional needs are met

**Reporting lines**

You will be reporting to the Concerned Chapter Lead/Engineering Manager and also you will be working in a Squad alongside with PO, Developers and BA in Agile Methodology

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure to support SAP workloads on AWS.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management for SAP deployments and automation.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable SAP deployments on AWS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly and proactively.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with SAP Basis team to ensure seamless integration between SAP and the cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and procedures.
- Participate in security assessments and compliance audits related to the SAP environment on AWS.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Experience with SAP environments and tools is desirable.

**Essential Skills**:

- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on cloud technologies.
- Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Cloudformation, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, particularly Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus and Artifactory.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Work experience and knowledge of RHEL or SUSE Linux administration would be an added advantage.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Good understanding and experience on ITIL Process (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or other relevant AWS certifications is mandatory.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
