- Department: eCommerce Platform- Location: Singapore- As a Regional Head, Partnerships (Banks), you will be our key commercial lead with our global and regional bank partners. You will need to be an expert at identifying commercial potential within the digital, regulatory and credit risk environments of our partners. A sharp business acumen coupled with a strong background in either wholesale lending or consumer card is essential. You succeed through shaping the best commercial outcomes with our partners to achieve Lazada’s financial services mission.**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct market landscape and build target book of strategic business opportunities with Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions.
- Own the commercial outcome for Lending and/or Card related partnerships while aligning the risk parameters internally and externally.
- To build customized financial business models that leverages on our unique dataset and our partners strength in market.
- To support the leadership team with financial projections and loss scenarios for loan portfolios.
- To be the liaison for Risk Scoring, Loan Pricing and Loss Rates negotiation with Partners and internal teams.
- Responsible commercial owner of the regulatory and risk value chain for strategic partnerships including Customer Due Diligence, Risk Scoring, Credit Risk, Business Risk and Regulatory requirements.
- Own the financial projection business case for projects and on-going loan portfolio growth with our Strategic Partners.
- To provide support to country teams with lending commercial proposals.
- Work in a team-oriented, project driven environment and partner with regional product teams and country commercial teams to deliver targeted outcomes.
- Support the development of Regional Playbooks to streamline the commercial deals process.
**Job Requirements**
- Have a bachelor’s degree or above and with minimum 15 years of working experience.
- Prior experience in Lending, Financing, Cards, Credit Risk or Business Management function of a Financial Institution or large Fintech is a pre-requisite.
- Product knowledge of Short Term Loans, Buy Now Pay Later or Consumer Cards is preferred, but more importantly the willingness to learn and innovate new solutions in this dynamic environment.
- Be able to independently produce a Lending Product paper with both standardized and alternative scoring metrics.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to work in a regional role within a complex matrix organization and collaborate effectively with multiple partners with different backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, and thrives on building new ways of working.
- Have strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure with multiple concurrent objectives.
