**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure ISCS and Depot BMS operations are maintained without major interruption and availability of system is according to Performance Index.
- Maintain failure management and provide emergency response so that adhere to procedure.
- Conduct technical training and to ensure that staff are competently trained and certified to perform the servicing works.
- Review the material inventory and contracting works for cost effectiveness.
- Ensure safety plans are implemented and all safety hazards are eliminated.
- Lead investigation into technical failures or recommending best technical solution to improve the system performance.
- Provide maintenance support to ISCS systems.
- Analyze and identify training needs
- Perform courseware development
- Perform course review and continuous improvement on course materials
- Draw up a training plan for every new staff
- Conduct training & assessment
- Conduct refreshers & drills
- Maintain training and assessment records
- Monitor and report staff training progress including refreshers & drills
- To generate and install software patch and releases to the LIVE system
- Responsible for software design, coding, implementation, testing and documentation
- To investigate and resolve bugs and technical issues
- Train technical staff to be competent to perform servicing work.
- Review engineering design and lead investigation for technical failures or recommending best technical solution to improve the system performance
- Responsible for the safety of staff, related contractors and others working on or around the railway premises.
- Responsible to assign only competence maintenance staff of ISCS, and ensuring the competence of related contractors’ staff.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a Bachelor Degree or Poly Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering / Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunication Engineering.
- Preferably at least 3 years of working experience in software development for Supervisory Control or System Engineering.
- Preferably at least 6 years of working experience in Supervisory Control or System Engineering for diploma holder.
- Knowledge in Linux, HP-Unix Operating Systems, commands and scripts.
- Strong programming in C, C++, VB Scripts, Excel VBA, Tcl
- Experience in using Oracle database, SQL, PLC programming.
- Good knowledge in MODBUS protocol
- Good debugging and problem solving skills
- Strong people, planning and organizing skills.
- Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
