Roles & Responsibilities

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide inputs, highlight deviations and contribute possible work improvements to
documentation (WI, RA, and Maintenance Manuals) for the assigned Engineering
Vehicle and its related systems
- Update Maintenance Supervisors of daily work status and assists to provide
inputs with actual work being done and number of staff accomplishing the work
- Ensure RMMS checklists are accurately entered and closed upon completion of
PM work
- Record and update the assigned Work Order or repair documentation provided
by Supervisors
- Identification of spares required for various maintenance works assigned and
highlighting discrepancies to Supervisors
- Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor in carrying out maintenance and other
assigned duties
- Attend to faults in depot or mainline as assigned by Engineer or Maintenance
Supervisor
- Ensure that the assigned Engineering Vehicles and its systems are properly
maintained
- Assist the Senior / Assistant Engineer in conducting engineering and safety analysis,
investigations and testing
- Ensure team’s special test equipment, ground support equipment, tools and
facilities are accounted, maintained and functional
- Ensure individual qualification and competence are valid and updated
- Undertake any other tasks or functions that are incidental or ancillary to the performance of assigned work
- Assists in sourcing for Spare parts. May have to drive the company’s vehicle, if required
- Responds readily during emergencies

**Requirements**:

- Higher Nitec / Nitec in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
- Experience in railway environment will be an added advantage
- Experience in machining or heavy machineries
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- A team player with good drive, and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work shift hours
- Ability to identify colours
