Manager, Publisher Partnerships

The Publisher organization exists to discover, recruit, onboard and develop, performance partnership opportunities, to match advertiser needs, with the goal of increasing performance for our clients. Our objectives as a group are to diversify and grow our Global network across emerging Geography, Vertical and by Publisher Types; and to win and retain key global/local accounts. The focus for this role will be in our Asian markets, market priorities will be based on business needs.
Under the direction of the Regional Publisher Director, they will have the responsibility for leading the regional publisher strategy for surfacing partnership opportunities; guiding a team managing both growing and key publisher portfolios; driving revenue growth through new and optimized strategic partnerships. The position is also responsible for the staffing, training, management, and development of a publisher development team, and support the ongoing regional alignment between Commercial (Sales and Client Services).
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads a team of publisher managers and responsible for providing highest level of client service and high performance
- Facilitate the achievement of the team’s revenue target by regularly monitor the performance of regional networks, responsible for hitting monthly and annual targets related to team portfolio and overall Asia network performance
- Supporting key leadership meetings, presentations, define high-level partner strategy, and allocate marketing, training and support resources for launch.
- Understand and improve individuals’ performance through the lens of process, methodology and targets
- Create clarity for team members, help them find creative deal structures and remove obstacles to help them achieve challenging goals
- Managing high-performing team across multiple geographies and develop a successful Go To Market strategy to grow revenue by covering principal countries: South Korea, South and South East Asia.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- Minimum 4 years experience in affiliate marketing with at least 2 years of people management experience
- Willingness to recruit, train, mentor, and retain talent
- Proven track record of understanding of business development processes and managing business development team members.
- Passionate about working in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and fluid start-up environment
- Korean fluency is required to conduct research and support customers.
- Regional market exposure & additional language abilities in Asia is a plus.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
**Team management**:
- Provide leadership to direct reports, motivate individuals to high performance
- Allocate responsibilities, manage workload, prepare and manage training and progression
- Responsible for the performance development of team members
- Hold weekly meetings with team members to review partner program performance, marketing strategy, and status of execution vs. planned strategy tactics
**Technical / functional expertise**:
- Solid proficiency with Excel for client-ready reports and presentations.
- Ability and willingness to learn publisher integration tools and products
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft PPT and Excel (data pivoting)
- Solid expertise in digital marketing concepts / solutions, particularly Affiliate Marketing
- Knowledge of major affiliates in the marketplace and various channels for distribution including Search, Loyalty, End Consumer Offers, Influencers, and Lead Generation

- Good written and oral communication skills, plus ability to present to partners and internal teams
- Solution orientation approach to work - desire and ability to think creatively, solve problems and use professional judgment
- Ability to self-manage with excellent organisation and prioritization skills
- Strong customer services skills: Negotiation, diplomacy, able to translate client requirements into technical specifications
