As the Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in amplifying our voice and crafting our communication strategies across the APJ region. Working jointly across different functions and teams, you will ensure that our messaging aligns with our company's values and resonates with a diverse audience.

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Support the APJ Communications Director in developing and implementing communication plans aligning with our APAC region's business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels, including social media.
- Coordinate with local and global PR agencies to support media relations efforts, ensuring effective communication and outreach to the APJ target audience
- Assist in creating and reviewing content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media updates, customer success stories, and other materials to elevate Elastic's and our thought leaders' visibility.
- Monitor and analyse industry trends and competitor activities, staying ahead of developments in generative AI, cloud technologies, and related fields.
- Assist in measuring the effectiveness of our communication programs and efforts through data analysis and reporting.

**What You Bring Along**:

- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Highly organized and with an eye for detail. Things move quickly here but there are always notes, spreadsheets, and lists
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Great teammate with the ability to work independently and autonomously
- Flexibility to adjust to the dynamic nature of a high-growth company and willing to do more than expected
- You have a 'let's-do-this' demeanor and are driven to see projects to completion
- Minimum 6-8 years of proven track record in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
