
Assistant Manager

Reporting to the Executive Director of HR, you will work closely with the HR team to execute HR strategies and initiatives effectively. This role encompasses recruitment activities, employee onboarding & offboarding, employee welfare management and handling HR operations matters.
To thrive in this role, you must possess a positive working attitude, possess understanding of HR rules and regulations, good communication abilities, and a dedication to continuous learning.
**Responsibilities**:
Recruitment
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to shortlisting to interviewing and selection.
- Assist to execute acquisition strategies to attract talents.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create job postings for various online job portals.
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding Management
- Review and implement effective onboarding and off-boarding including exit clearance.
- Facilitate orientation sessions to introduce new employees to the company culture, policies and procedures.
- Monitor and improve onboarding processes based on feedback and best practices.
Employee Welfare
- Champion employee welfare initiatives to create a positive and inclusive workplace.
- Manage employee welfare programmes relating to mental health and well-being.
HR Operations Matters
- Handle HR-related matters throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
- Undertake HR Reporting including data analysis.
Projects
- Involve in employer branding project with a selected vendor to refresh SBF’s branding for recruitment.
**Job Requirements**
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of in-house HR experience.
- Eagerness to take initiative, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and work with a high sense of urgency to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Keep abreast of legislative changes in local employment laws.
- Good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Resourceful and possess a positive work attitude.
- Meticulous with a keen eye for details.
