**Regional Commercial Manager (Mumbai)**

**Mumbai, India**

Salling Search is excited to introduce our partnership with a leading global shipping company for a Regional Commercial Manager position, based in Mumbai.

**The Job**:

- Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve revenue targets and enhance market presence in the region.
- Manage existing client relationships and cultivate long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders including service providers and government authorities.
- Develop effective commercial initiatives and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase volume.
- Ensuring effective communication flows both downward and upward between the Head Office and regional teams, while also maintaining regular communication with third-party agents across the region.
- Take charge of developing solutions, including introducing services, trades or commodity projects to meet the ever changing needs of our customers and market.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and standards across both internal teams and regional third-party agencies within the region.
- Ensure business tools, processes and systems (i.e. Phoenix, EMS, Power BI, CRM) are understood and effectively used, ensuring proper change management.
- Monitor accounts receivables (freight and detention) with agencies in the region.
- Maintain oversight on regular remittances to the Head Office.
- Oversee and manage commercial-related KPIs by third-party agents, especially CRM-related metrics, to track performance and ensure alignment with company targets.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a degree in business or a relevant field.
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior management role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies, driving revenue growth, and building strategic relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Proficiency in business tools and systems such as Phoenix, EMS, Power BI, and CRM.
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards, with experience in implementing and enforcing compliance measures.
- Deep understanding of shipping and logistics operations, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
