Senior Certification Executive

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Primary Role**

This role requires the individual to support certification audit and compliance programs involving certification management, compliance management, audit management, risk management, policy management, security awareness and training.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide support in preparing evidence / supporting documents for the audit fieldwork to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and related risk management, internal controls and governance process, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company’s policies and procedures.
- Provide support in preparing and analysis of data and information required for each audit assignment planning.
- Assist in developing and drafting comprehensive audit observations (including root causes and risks) on weaknesses in control environment and making recommendations for process improvements.
- Assist in finalizing the audit findings, recommendations, reports, and collate management responses and action plans to mitigate risk.
- Assist in developing Annual Internal Audit Plan/Program and in the preparation of deliverables such as audit reports and presentation materials to Management and Steering Committee.
- Assist in tracking audit issues identified by Internal Audit and external auditors, and monitor implementation progress of management action plans.
- Assist in conducting validation review on management remediation actions to address control deficiencies.
- Provide support in monitoring and follow-up on outstanding audit issues identified by Internal Audit and external auditors, and monitor implementation progress of management & mitigation action plans.
- Pro-active identification of risks and opportunities for improvements as part of the assessments.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree / diploma
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant audit experience will be preferred.
- Professional certifications on IT audit, risk or security from ISACA or (ISC)2 would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to details.
- Proactive and adaptable with good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise objective judgement with strong logical and critical thinking skills.
- Self-motivated team player with continuous learning attitude.
- Positive work attitude, with high level of commitment and initiative.
- Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
