The Client Director is accountable for both shaping the strategic foundation of key client accounts, as well as delivering client servicing excellence to ensure client satisfaction across all projects they are assigned to. They are a consummate professional in all they do / say / write and they bring significant respect and gravitas to all situations - internally and externally. This includes delivering flawless execution of projects, ensuring development of those within the team and driving growth through existing and new clients. The Client Director combines two key functions of client service and strategy to offer a unique approach to shaping brand strategy programmes, managing clients and collaborating seamlessly with all brand functions (Client Service, Strategy, Design, Insights & Analytics and Production teams) across the Landor & Fitch network regionally and globally where required.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**

**Fundamentals**
- 6 years or more of strategy experience, from a background of brand and design or strategic planning
- A tireless thinker and a storyteller, you gather and curate the right observations and unearth insights that solve clients’ challenges via their brand
- You are analytical with a keen understanding of branding and business imperatives, with experience in participating in complex projects with proven results
- Self-motivated, articulate and collaborative, you have the ability to see the bigger picture for our clients and you are results-focused
- Leads client relationships with the emphasis on driving revenue growth, both organically and as a partner on new business
- Embraces, champions and can sell all of Landor & Fitch’s capabilities, including Brand performance, strategy, expression, experience, management and Cultural Transformation
- Ensures flawless project management
- Partners with internal functions to ensure accurate and timely resource and financial management
- Ensures all correspondence, materials, presentations, proposals issued are of the highest quality, relevant to the client’s business challenges, and reflective of the Landor & Fitch approach
- Facilitates multiple internal and client groups; easily moves between consensus building, collaboration, and decision-oriented styles and demonstrates agility
- Communicates findings, insights, and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner
- Understands the critical nature of archiving key client deliverables and champions the building of credentials / case histories
- Recognises the critical importance of following the project management processes internally as well as externally and leads by example in delivering key financial / reporting / timeline related information for the duration of a project
- Shares, exports and imports best practices and resources with peers within broader Landor & Fitch network. Collaborates with colleagues globally, both informally and formally, to ensure consistent best practices
- Leads and interacts with colleagues and clients in a positive, professional and motivating manner

**People and Team**
- Contributes to the brand strategy development for key accounts and can present insights and key strategic implications to clients with clarity and ease
- Line manages a team which may consists of a Senior Client Manager and / or Client Manager and Client Coordinator (client dependent)
- Understands how best to navigate the team, how to ensure optimal output from those individually and how to deliver the maximum results through that team
- Champions, embraces, utilises, and coaches others on how to use the Landor & Fitch’s tools to identify business opportunities and solve clients’ business challenges
- Provides training and support in business development skills so that team members embrace and understand the importance of business development
- Recognises and supports their team’s performance through regular 1:1’s and team meetings
- Excels in a team environment; is comfortable with accolades going elsewhere
- Fosters communication and cohesion between internal teams and functions - Facilitates the right amount of meetings at the right times; understands the need for team communication
- Facilitates and ensures a share-of-voice for wider team members across multiple functions and ensures appropriate direct client connections
- Responsible for individual performance management of direct reports, including setting objectives and ongoing check-in for progress
- Responsible for identifying and supporting ideas, and coaching team members to achieve their assigned roles, that will achieve agreed upon revenue targets and agreed-upon growth
