Dutch Colony Coffee Co. is an award-winning specialty coffee company with a state-of-the-art roasting facility which also manage and run retail outlets, ranging from coffee bar to coffee bar + kitchen concept, with focus on quality and service.
As a HR & Recruitment Specialist, you will be working closely with business owners and business leaders to build and execute HR and recruitment strategy, with goal to manage the daily HR need of the business and to acquire the right fit talent as part of the company’s growth strategy.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure Ministry of Manpower legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Assists with job posting and advertising processes.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with business leaders to ensure a collaborative approach to hiring.
- Proactive, be a solutions-oriented advisor to your stakeholders, keeping up to date with new sourcing techniques, external market trends and act as a resource for areas of specialty in recruiting
- Share best practices with the wider talent acquisition and people teams
**Who You Are**
- Minimum 1 year of experience in human resource and recruitment, with exposure to food and beverage industry and network
- Self-starter, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively with business owners and business leaders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
- Experience with sourcing tools (business networking sites, job boards, etc), Employee Referral programs, Applicant Tracking Systems, and HR Information Systems
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects, and with multiple partners, simultaneously
- Familiarity with Singapore laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Ability to thrive in fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- Solutions and results oriented with strong problem-identification and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
