We deliver available, reliable, consistent technology solutions for our internal and external customers, essential tools for our people and innovative product platforms for our customers (including Netbank and CommSec)

The Business Banking Technology team within the Technology function manages the end-to-end technology needs for Business Banking (BB) within the CBA Group.

Our team is composed of engineers and technology leaders, who bring in the right mix of skills to enable this transformation. We also work very closely with our business and operations colleagues to support these services which are critical to the Australian and Global economy.

**Impact & Contribution**:The CBA technology unit delivers the best digital banking services to Commonwealth Bank customers and to do so is responsible for digital delivery, group data and analytics, technology and technology infrastructure, cyber, fraud, physical security and business resilience for all divisions across CBA. It is also dedicated to delivering the best workplace technology experience for our over 53.000 people across CBA and focused on providing the latest tools, technology, and resources to enhance the way we work together and empower our people to achieve more for our customers.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Independently oversee multiple projects ensuring that all functional and non-functional requirements are met.
- Utilise strong understanding of core business and technical strategies to deliver best business outcomes.
- Develop and deploy high quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with other teams across the enterprise to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
- Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team.
- Drive strategic practice development and provides technical assistance to the team.
- Provide high level estimates for large projects.
- Active contribution to internal online discussion around software engineering, delivery and technology e.g. blog posts, knowledge base articles etc.

**Essential Skills**:

- .NET Technologies with minimum 15+ years of experience with expert level knowledge, working with the following languages
- Front End Web Development (ReactJS/Angular preferred - only for Full stack)
- Cloud Technology: AWS
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Thought Leadership and People Leadership.
- Track record of building high performing teams.
- Proven track record of managing 10-15 direct reports comprising of Software Engineers & Quality Engineers.

Experience working with the following Tools:

- IDEs (Visual Studio Code & IntelliJ)
- Streaming tool such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Source Control systems such as Git
- Build & Deployment tools such as TeamCity, Octopus Deploy
- Monitoring tools such as Splunk/Observe, AppDynamics, Snyk

Awareness of the following Software Development/Testing Concepts:

- REST and API Development
- CI/CD and DevOps
- TDD and BDD
- Micro-services Architecture
- Secure Coding Practices
- Test Automation (Unit/System/System Integration)

**Education Qualification**:Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
