**Job Title**: Quality Engineer

**Location**: Bangalore

**Impact & contribution**:
As a Quality Engineer in Core Banking Crew, you’ll be responsible for the ongoing development of test assets by adopting best QA and engineering practice and innovative approach in experimenting with emerging tools and technologies. This role will shape the design and delivery of solutions encompassing automated testing and quality engineering practices. You will contribute to the financial well-being of our customers by ensuring that our team builds the best solutions possible using modern development and testing practices that ensure both functional and non-functional needs are met

**Reporting lines**

You will be reporting to the Concerned Chapter Lead/Engineering Manager and also you will be working in a Squad alongside with PO, Developers and BA in Agile Methodology

**Roles & Responsibilities**

Analyse and translate business requirements and functional specifications into Automation testing requirements

Development of quality test automation artefacts using TOSCA as preferred automation tool and implementation of CICD pipeline using Teamcity

Review of Existing test artefacts

Should take ownership and be proactive in working through issues and roadblocks.

Test execution and coordinate test defect management

Action phase level Test Plans, as detailed within the Test Strategy

Provide input to Planning and scheduling for projects as detailed within the Test Strategy

Coordinate test environment and data requirements to complete test execution

Provide test status reporting to manager and stakeholders

Creation of test completion reports

**Essential Skills**

You will have extensive experience in the following:
4-6 Years of Experience in Automation testing

Should have expertise in API Testing, SOAP Services and automation using TOSCA

Strong knowledge of Automation Test implementation best practices and CICD implementation using Teamcity.

Working with senior stakeholders, with the confidence to challenge when required.

Ability to work and participate in collaborative working environment like agile (scrum).

Confident in presenting your ideas to other members of the team and wider stakeholders.

**Qualifications**

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
