**Business & Team**

Content Services enable critical business functions within the bank by creating reliable E2E solutions for document management leveraging both in-house solutions and industry leading products.

As a leader, we would expect you to have: Comprehensive experience in risk management in complex environments, including experience in incident and issue management, adhering to compliance obligations and developing ‘risk resilient’ cultures.

The skills to manage risk effectively including authentically communicating the importance of risk in a way that mobilises others to act, making robust decisions based on data and root cause analysis, creating an environment where people feel safe to speak up, working collaboratively across the three lines of accountability and delivering sustainable results

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Build, lead and inspire an engaged team of Engineers.
- Empower team to manage their work appropriately, respond to queries, address impediments and problem solve technical issues.
- Provide effective coaching to Engineers and establish mechanisms for peer to peer learning and mentoring.
- Understand how to foster and lead diverse teams and demonstrate commitment to doing so.
- Role model a culture of engineering empowerment, autonomy, psychological safety and constructive challenge.
- Understand unique skill sets of team members, providing personalised feedback and guidance.
- Communicate to senior management and key stakeholders to ensure clear path to execution.
- Communicate Engineering Practice standards and consistent ways of working across the domain and CBA that align to industry standards.
- Allocate time for code review, refactoring and tech debt elimination over feature delivery.

**Essential Skills**:
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team
- 14+ years of experience in Information Technology in a fast-paced environment
- 6+ years in management overseeing tech development in an agile ecosystem
- Strong People leadership skills to lead, develop, motivate team and help them grow providing direction and guidance as required
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Have a keen eye for continuous improvements and help achieve efficiencies in both build and operations
- Enterprise experience in document management including ingesting, storing, metadata tagging, delivering, archiving and/ or destruction.
- Advanced understanding and experience in public cloud (AWS) would be desirable but not a mandate
- Analytical thinker, problem solver and able to deliver outcomes manoeuvring through inter-dependencies that are both internal and external
- Strong experience in.NET Core
- Hands on experience designing and developing APIs and Microservices
- Design and Architecture patterns
- AWS cloud and cloud patterns experience, preferably AWS certified
- Experience with Kubernetes and Containerization is desirable
