**Senior Biofuels Operator/Head of Operations, Ambitious Low-Carbon Energy Trader**

Formative Search is partnering exclusively with an ambitious low carbon energy trader with storage, assets with regional presence. The management is seeking for an experienced Senior Biofuels Operator to assist and manage their operations and cope with their increasing shipment volumes.

Collaborating closely with the Head of Trading and Senior Traders, your main responsibilities include the A-Zs of cargo and shipping operations of biofuels from trade inception to execution including contracts, co-ordination the logístical operations from port of loading to discharge and shipping operations to optimise loading and discharge plans.

In addition, your responsibilities may also include tank leasing, blending of these biofuels/feedstocks, barge leasing to deal execution to ensure the operational success of the deals, including invoicing and claims.

In this role, you would have the opportunity to progress your career as the Head of Operations and lead a team regionally.

**Requirements**:
You are an experienced and capable Oil & Gas (trading operator refined/clean products ideally) with at least 5-7 years of both trading ops and shipping ops, well-experienced from contracts to invoicing and claims, not siloed in one particular area.

You are capable of functioning independently, able to handle huge volumes of cargo shipments, strong problem solver and a huge plus if you possess oil blending and storage experience.

You possess a strong commercial mindset to optimise supply chain and maximise P&L from an operational perspective, looking to stay in Operations function long term.
