**Senior Biofuels Originator, Leading Energy Producer & Renewables Player**

Formative Search is privileged to be partnering alongside a leading energy producer looking at sustainable fuels and low carbon solutions and hence in search for a Senior Biofuels Originator as part of their decarbonization plans.

In this exciting expansionary role, the firm is seeking for an experienced biofuels originator for business development, development of long-term strategy, secure sustainability certification, negotiate long term production through greenfield/brownfield acquisitions and/or JV partnerships for sustainable fuels and renewable fuels from waste and renewable feedstock. Your role may also include creating/identify shorts, system flows and supply optimisation of these trade flows.

In addition, you are also directed to make in depth market analysis to define long term strategy for the biofuels /sustainable fuels business and recommend investment ideas to the Senior management for acquisition and M&A, as part of the firm’s ambition to achieve its net-zero targets and reduction of their 1 and 2 scope emissions and scope 3.

**Requirements**:
You are an experienced/senior biofuels originator with strong commercial and business acumen, possessing good networks within South-east Asia/Asia Pacific and Europe.
