**Senior Biofuels Trader, Leading Energy Producer & Renewables Player**
Formative Search is privileged to be partnering alongside a leading energy producer looking at sustainable fuels and low carbon solutions and hence in search for a Senior Biofuels Trader (Southeast-Asia (SEA)/Asia Pacific coverage) as part of their decarbonization plans.
- In this exciting expansionary role, the energy firm is ready to make significant asset-investments and storage blending facilities and therefore seeking Senior Biofuels Trader (Physical) to originate and procure these feedstocks from Asia (SEA or Asia Pacific), store, blend and to market/trade biofuels into Europe. Leveraging Singapore as an excellent trading hub status and location, you are to build a strong network of suppliers in SEA/Asia Pacific and customers in Europe, optimise the trading flows across different office locations, and develop new trading flows for the business to maximise P&L.
- You are also directed to make in depth market analysis to define long term strategy for the biofuels /sustainable fuels business and recommend investment ideas to the Senior management for acquisition and M&A, as part of the firm’s ambition to achieve its net-zero targets and reduction of their 1 and 2 scope emissions and scope 3.
**Requirements**:
- You are an experienced/senior biofuels trader with good trading exposure and trading networks in South-east Asia and/or Asia Pacific. You have experience running a book, with blending experience a huge plus.
