**The Essence of this Role**:
With fast growth and expansion, we are looking for a Lead Business Development Professional to drive the adoption and accelerate the Go-To-Market of Affinidi platform. This role will be stationed in Singapore covering APAC region, and will report directly to the Director of Business Development with a dotted line to the Chief Foundations Officer.
- Be the primary relationship owner for focused communities, manage day-to-day interactions, aligning with key stakeholders and driving influenced revenue, adoption, market penetration through these organizations.
- Act as Affinidi's ambassador and participate actively and build relationships within relevant industry bodies, trade associations, communities and represent Affinidi.
- Identify, develop and nurture engagements with focused bodies and ensure they have full awareness and access to the full spectrum of the resources and programs Affinidi has to offer.
- Evangelize Affinidi's value proposition and business impact to Industry influencers and leaders to ensure they're successfully engaging with Affinidi to develop a long-term strategic mindset that will cascade influence within the tech community.
- Land and implement specific go-to-market programs with organizations and own the execution plan and success of the programs.
- Engage with highly visible web3/decentralized projects with significant impacts
- Support and participate at industry conferences and engage with senior executives for partnerships
- Have significant experience in business development, lead generation, development of strategic partnerships or management consulting
- Are passionate about working in a start-up environment and love to problem solve and come up with creative ideas to solve customer challenges
- Love being engaged in numerical analysis, data-driven problem solving
- Possess a growth mindset with a strong bias for action and can proactively execute tasks and have a structured working style
- Have strong customer empathy, particularly a good understanding of negotiation, partnerships and strive for "win-win" projects
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
