
Head of Sales- Asean and Aus/nz

**Role Summary:
CQG is seeking a proven sales executive to manage and develop our ASEAN and AUS/NZ book of business. This role is for someone who will help drive the go to market strategy, build brand awareness, proactively identify and establish contact with potential customers. The individual is expected to develop the sales strategy for the ASEAN and AUS/NZ region and be responsible for negotiation and closing of new business deals in the region.
This role is for someone who has a passion for financial market data technology and is keen to build new relationships in both developed and emerging markets. In addition to an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-paced and dynamic team, the individual will get the opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of technical expertise in the trading technology field.
**Main Responsibilities:
**New Business Initiatives**
- Developing overall sales and relationship management strategy for ASEAN and AUS/NZ with brokers, proprietary trading firms, financial institutions, and corporations.
- Identify and establish partnerships in both developed and emerging market with Independent Software Vendors (ISV).
- Develop and maintain C-suite relationships across all clients
- Identify and develop key relationships with FCM’s, regional Banks and proprietary trading firms
- Effectively present CQG Suite of solutions based on potential customer requirements.
**Managerial**
- Supervise ASEAN and AUS/NZ Account Managers
- Develop inside sales strategy through identifying target markets and client persona types for each sub-region.
**Key Account Management**
- Develop relationship management strategy and cadence to be implemented across all clients.
- Work with Account Managers to develop key relationships with decision makers
- Ensure proactive communication with existing clients on new relevant solutions
- Provide a regular presence at Key Account sites

- Regular “Touching Base” calls to inactive customers
- Providing billing/contract explanations
**Education, Experience, Skills:
- Experience in sales & relationship management preferably within the financial technology space across APAC with experience in ASEAN and AUS/NZ region, preferably 10+ years
- Established/existing networks and relationships across the region, with a focus on financial institutions
- Experience in channel/enterprise partnership sales
- Experience in managing a team of Account Managers
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to work with people
- Strong client-facing skills
- Self-Motivated and flexible to work unsupervised
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly innovative and proactive
- Should have excellent negotiation skills to work with various customer types in particular C-suite
- Travel is required
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
**Working Conditions:
Located in Singapore, working conditions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment include short deadlines and high workloads. Working with employees from around the world is necessary.
