**Job Description**:

- Conduct routine testing of lube oil samples
- Conduct laboratory operations in designated areas and report any malfunction, abnormality to CSIM/CT-QA/QC
- Practice good housekeeping to ensure the work area and surrounding is kept clean.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous waste as defined in the Hazardous Waste Plan
- Verify and keep proper documentations once samples are received and opened
- Coordinate receipt and registration of samples in the VLIMS software in a timely manner to be processed for testing without delay
- Report any equipment problem, calibration issues, or difficult samples to Testing Coordinator or Shift-in charge
- Check equipment readiness for assigned test method, carry out QC test as needed and enter result in the SQC system.
- Homogenize sample and subdivide for various test benches
- Carry out routine testing of assigned bench
- Data entry of test results in datasheet or in VLIMS
- Ensure all Safety and Health policies, test procedures are followed while carrying out test
- Make request for solvent, chemical top up, retrieval of sample from storage through Sample Management System
- Prepare and number test tubes, test jars required for the tests
- Oversee sample homogenization process
- Any other ad hoc duties

Job Requirements:

- Minimum ITE / Diploma in Applied Chemistry
- Minimum 1 year experience as Lube Oil Lab Analyst
- Able to do shift work (5pm to 2am)
