**Brief Summary**:
The Quotations Engineer is part of the Product Management team, who handles the generation of quotations of optical components based on engineering input and sourcing sub-component parts from third party vendors to give accurate and consistent quotes for parts to our sales teams.

**Essential Functions**:
1. Generation of quotations
- Receiving quotation requests from Sales team and entering data into system trackers.
- Creating the quotation worksheet and sending it with attached drawings and details to the relevant engineers.
- Collate the responses from engineering for timings, yields, exceptions and ensure the worksheet is complete before returning to Sales team.
- Provide analysis and review with higher management team for high value quotes.
- Receive and provide responses to questions from the Sales team.

2. Costing analysis
- Lead and monitor manufacturing costing models and make recommendations to improve/stabilize procedures and policies.
- Capable of facilitating analysis across SAP system costing, RFQ costing, and the actual cost.

3. Program functions
- Demonstrates collaboration with Sales team (customers) and internal team with actionable follow up until closure.
- Organize program requirements into actionable breakdown tasks for team members.
- Monitor and analyze status of customer orders. Identify and resolve issues that may affect on-time delivery, risks and prepare counter-measures.
- Develop, maintain and generate performance reports for dissemination to internal team.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Engineering, Finance or related discipline.
- Preferably with 2. 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or 2 years’ experience in quotations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills to complement their experience.
- Proficient in computer knowledge skills such as SAP and MS office.
