The position is based in Hanover / Germany, but can also be managed remotely from another city in Germany or from one of our EU / UK locations.

Airline IT is a global team within TUI technology responsible for the group-wide IT landscape of TUI Airline. We are a multi-disciplinary team of experts across Architecture, Engineering, DevOps and Agile Delivery providing services across the UK, Sweden, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

ABOUT THE JOB
Identify, scope and drive initiatives transforming the passenger process off
- and on-airport through digitalization and technology;
Supporting the Airport Systems Team in delivering system deployments, incl. station preparation, risk management and training of third-party service providers;
Represent department interests and initiatives on customer boards in the TUI Aviation Segment;
Improving airport customer experience through selecting the right OKRs and making suitable data accessible to drive operational excellence and efficiency;
Demonstrate positive customer impact and build sound business cases to secure key stakeholder buy-in for projects and initiatives;
Collaborate closely with the Ground Operations, Customer Service and Commercial teams to deliver value for the Group and our customers in the airport arena,
Consolidate requirements and drive harmonisation and standardisation of systems and processes across the Group Airlines,
Manage own projects and change across several departments with a high degree of autonomy.

ABOUT YOU
Passionate about and strong knowledge of airport and ground handling processes, systems and stakeholders including key performance metrics and cross-functional interfaces;
Proven experience in delivering step changes in customer experience and corresponding satisfaction scores;
Sound understanding of automation potentials and respective technology providers along the airport passenger process chain;
Mastery of moderation, presentation and visualization techniques with excellent skills to make oneself understood and influence a wide range of employees at different seniority levels, including local colleagues;
Excellent communicator, with the ability to break down complex dependencies in a structured manner, and who is comfortable working with and influencing a wide range of technical and business stakeholders;
Can put himself well into the situation and use cases of the customers and transport this to the team as a mentor, coach and initiator;
Fluent German and English skills both verbally and in writing.
