**How will you value-add?**
The Business Development department focuses the firm's market strategies around client problems/issues in targeted client segments to drive revenue growth. We utilise analytics to derive meaningful insights and work across all lines of services to embed the insights in providing a client-centric experience. We support our internal clients in building trust with new clients and deepening relationships in the marketplace.
As a Manager in the Business Development team reporting directly to the One Markets Director, you will manage a tight-knit team that enables the business to meet annual targets, bring the best of our global network to our client and provide them with a best-in-class experience.
- Develop & execute business development & go-to-market strategies
- Drive business development strategies, from conceptualization to execution, to meet growth targets within the firm
- Support our key accounts and industry leaders with account management, proposal development, sharing of insights from client feedback & enhance on existing strategies
- Develop an understanding of key client issues and the relevant PwC propositions that are successfully generating revenue
- Maintain and expand relationships and network with relevant stakeholders, actively participate with PwC global work streams on key focus areas
- Execute and monitor the progress of firm-wide Markets initiatives to ensure existing goals are met
- Ensure alignment with the marketing team for new and existing initiatives
- Manage a small team to deliver on all the client development programmes
**About you**
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Development and /or Business Development Operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management / Business Studies or a related field
- Demonstrable experience in project execution and deployment
- Strong business acumen, excellent organisational and communication skills, with the courage to speak up and share viewpoints
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high-attention to detail. High global acumen, with the ability to tailor your style to work across cultures, backgrounds, and staff levels
- Possess good presentation and persuasion skills, comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders within the firm
- Prior experience with CRM (preferably Salesforce) would be a plus.
