The National Cohort Office (NCO) is a national initiative funded by MOH to develop cohort studies to enhance the long-term biomedical research ecosystem in Singapore. The programme office is hosted at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore (NUS) to provide administrative oversight to the strategic cohorts grant and to facilitate competency building of the cohort research community.

The purpose of this job is to support the NCO with administrative functions of the office.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1) Work closely with NUS administrative offices, representatives from participating institutions and PIs on pre
- and post-award matters, including but not limited to:
a) Disseminate grant call, coordinate submissions, handle grant-related queries
c) Track and maintain documentation of selection, approvals, agreements and programme/project-level reports and KPIs
d) Prepare and submit budget projections and claims at programme and project level
2) Provide secretariat support which includes coordinating steering committee and evaluation panel meetings
3) Assist with engagement activities, such as annual conferences/workshops or other engagement platforms for cohort study investigators and relevant stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share best practices and collaborate.Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences or accountancy or Diploma holders with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with research grant administration, the Integrated Grant Management System (iGMS), and/or website content housekeeping is preferred
- Strong notetaking, presentation and communication skills
- Meticulous and organised in record keeping and budgeting
- Astute in reviewing accounts
- Adept at organising and prioritising assignments, monitoring and following up on tasks and deadlines
- Highly motivated individual with a passion for connecting and engaging with researchers and other stakeholders in the biomedical sector.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in a teamMore Information
