**Job Summary**

Assist in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the stewarding department including supervision of cleaning process, stock control, and maintenance of health, safety, and hygiene in all areas.

Job Descriptions
- Work closely with Stewarding Manager and supervisors to ensure that all standards are met in the Stewarding Department
- Monitor that all the stewarding storerooms and workplace are kept clean at all times
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment, serving dishes, cutleries, and kitchen areas are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Ensure that all setup and breakdown for functions are properly done.
- Comply with all fire, hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety regulations in the Club and stewarding department
- Maintain mínimal yet sufficient chemical inventory in all ware-washing areas
- Ensure that all kitchen and service colleagues are properly briefed that there is no overloading of operating equipment in the dishwashing area
- Ensure that all chemicals are kept in the proper chemical cabinet at all times
- Ensure proper garbage sorting and that all Food & Beverage garbage is removed from all areas and transferred to the garbage room
- Take inventory of the operating equipment and cleaning supplies
- Be in line with the planned labor cost target in relation to the business level
- Suggest ways to improve the Stewarding Department
- Attend all briefings and perform other reasonable duties assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level, Certificate in Hotel Management, preferred
- 2 years experience in running huge operations, especially banquet functions as well as outside catering, preferably in a similar operations style
- Good working knowledge of computers & Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn
- A good team player with excellent service capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, and a positive attitude toward fostering teamwork among associates in a support role.
- Ability to adapt, embrace strong cultural diversity, and work in multi-ethnic teams
- 5-day work week inclusive of Public Holidays and weekend
