As a member of our family-owned business, you will be leading system-based processes and IT-related strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT in the Asia Pacific region. Your new job includes
- lead and oversee the IT and Business process department; establish IT and Business Process departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures aligned to the group’s and regional strategic and business plans.
- ensure continuous and stable delivery of IT and Business Process services and IT projects to the region, by managing service level agreements, monitoring of IT systems performance, adhering to high standard of security within applicable laws/regulations and executing an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan, when necessary.
- manage continuous review of IT and Business processes and comparing to evolving best practices; with a goal to continuously optimise systems and processes.
- identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems, hardware/software and resources, including staffing, outsourcing, acquisition, purchasing, and in-house development.
- actively review existing IT landscape and portfolio to develop and execute the IT strategy roadmap aligned to and in support of the over-arching business strategy, and keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies to advise, counsel, and educate executives and management on their competitive or financial impact
- develop strong partnership with Global and Local IT teams in aligning IT solutions that fulfil local requirements and are optimal to the Heinemann Group.
What you should bring along
- a Degree or Diploma in Information Technology Information Systems or a related discipline, and practical experience of at least seven years with hands on experience in SAP ERP, IT Operations, strategic planning and execution, and minimum five years of experience in leading teams and stakeholders management with the business leads.
- a strong working knowledge of systems design and development from business requirements analysis to day-to-day management.
- an expertise in leading onshore/offshore model delivery with an excellent understanding of Agile project management principles.
- strong negotiating skills with the ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- a systematic way of organizing and setting priorities based on business needs and adapt logical and rationale approach in problem solving, meticulous in delivering results, detailed oriented and possesses an analytical approach while taking initiative and making some decisions independently.
- good written and communication skills with a pronounced can-do attitude, ability to mentor Team Members, complemented by the capability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
