At Thought Machine, partnerships are key to our tech and business operations. As a Partnerships Manager, you will:

- Engage with tech vendors to offer our clients a comprehensive banking ecosystem.
- Collaborate with strategy and financial services consultancies to develop cloud computing and digital banking solutions for banks.
- Work with system integrators on banking deployments.
- Identify, qualify, and recruit new partners, building and nurturing these relationships.

**Duties**
- Define strategies, including specific plans for individual partners, to deliver long-term sustainable growth. Manage all aspects of the partnership life cycle including identifying the right best of breed partners, acquisition, onboarding, prioritisation of key focus areas, structuring / negotiation of new initiatives, and ongoing partner management.
- Elevate Thought Machine’s influence & positioning through facilitating joint product development, co-marketing, and other opportunities.
- Develop and execute programs to further Thought Machine’s strategic goals and overall positioning in key markets and segments.
- Build and manage key business relationships, driving the success of partner projects and initiatives to support our rapid growth.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with key personnel at partner companies.
- Develop, structure, and close partnership deals that bring lasting value to the business.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, account management, and marketing, to meet partnership goals.
- Define strategies for individual partners to ensure long-term sustainable growth.
- Represent Thought Machine to key partners, managing engagement and marketing campaigns with strong presentation skills.
- Provide demos and technical briefs to partners.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Experience in a Retail/Commercial Banking environment.
- Skilled in commercial and contract negotiations.
- Proven commercial business development experience.
- Confident in client-facing roles with strong presentation skills.
- Proactive self-starter, eager to learn and grow.
- Ability to understand and articulate customer needs clearly.
- Creative thinker in deal negotiation and customer solution design.

**Desirable**
- Graduate or rotational program experience in Banking.
- Experience in Partnership Management within Fintech/Banking or Consultancy.
- Background in a strategy or advisory firm, with knowledge of computing and core banking systems.
- Experience working with Financial Institutions, especially Banks, with deep knowledge of bank products, processes, and systems.
