**Job Profile Summary**
Ops Enablement (OE) sits at the critical intersection of our Customers and Operations. Managing a global team of SMEs, the role will utilize analytical insights into order to execute decisions, drive process and technology solutions to improve workforce efficiency at Equinix data centres globally.
This role will work on automating and streamlining the delivery of workforce tracking and workforce capacity planning and associated tools and technologies in line with the strategic Ops Enablement vision. Working closely with our Regional Field Operations teams to establish standards, processes and change parameters to improve our workforce efficiency.
The role will also define global requirements, design and analyse solutions and manage efficiency gaining initiatives from inception to completion. To do this successfully, requires working closely with data center Operations leadership, SMEs and other Operations Enablement functions to understand and refine business needs and development requirements. The role is centred around our core retail and xScale services in the customer operations and critical facility environments.
**Business and Analytics Strategy**
- Drive change across data centers to achieve consistent business solutions
- Supports and communicates vision for analytics priorities, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Provide recommendations for improvement based on research, impact analysis, best practice adoption in line with goals and roadmaps.
- Partners with business stakeholders to analyse, define and document change requirements for operational improvements
- Drives Change Management with functional stakeholders
- May lead governance boards or steering committees
**Exploration, Analysis, Planning and Reporting**
- Has the ability to define, analyse and report on business metrics
- Explores data to determine integrity, trends and relationships between variables
- Uses insights from data mining to build advance analytics for solution creation within org and workforce planning, cost efficiency and predictive capability
- Reviews data issues and works with stakeholders to determine what actions to take to resolve them
- Identifies root causes related to newly discovered issues
- Perform data impact analysis and drives consistent solutions Globally to maintain alignment in relation to business processes and workforce intelligence
- Ability to understand various technologies, tools and operating parameters to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- May supervise leadership level reports and communications
- Identifies tools for an automated analytics platform
- Partners with:
- Business SMEs to determine data requirements/constraints
- Information Technology for support and resources
- Internal Communications for rollout of change, tools and updates
- May supervise or create workforce planning reports, using insights from data exploration to prepare visualizations and PowerPoint reports for stakeholders
**Project Management**:
- Creates and coordinates plans and resources, executing them using appropriate tools and techniques
- Defines scopes, charters and stakeholder needs
- Works with stakeholders to gain alignment through implementation and post-implementation stages
- Proactively communicates progress
- Identify risks, provide visibility and defines/executes risk mitigation actions
**Stakeholder Management**:
- Builds effective relationships within Operations leadership teams
- Manages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions
- Knows when to escalate to resolve complex stakeholder issues
- Drives and manages changes with cross-functional and global teams to ensure alignment with strategic vision
