The Company is a** **fast-growing digital asset company that operates a marketplace designed to meet the needs of both crypto-native firms as well as the world's largest financial institutions.
The company is seeking a full-time Head of Sales (APAC) to lead its APAC expansion. This leader will be responsible for building the go-to-market strategy within the region, customer acquisition and retention, and driving revenue and business growth. This is a tremendous opportunity to be on the ground floor of building the industry-leading spot and derivatives marketplace backed by prominent VC’s and financial institutions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Refine and execute go-to-market plans for the region ensuring strategy is on-point to accelerate new customer acquisition and capture market share.
- Establish strong relationships with institutional decision-makers and local regulators.
- Identify and implement key sales go-to-market strategies and originate customer targets in the market.
- Play a key role in regulatory/licensing efforts, and subsequently ensure that APAC business operates in full compliance with applicable local regulatory requirements.
- Oversee regional offices and hire top local talent to support the APAC business.
- Provide local customer insights to inform product, technology, and sales/marketing decisions; work with sales to develop, refine, and grow a competitive proposition.
- Play a proactive role in the customer-facing activities of the company, personally driving new sales activity. Proactively seek opportunities to scale the business in the region.

**Experience**:
- Solid understanding of the regulated financial services landscape, particularly with respect to trading of crypto and digital assets.
- Deep network of crypto and TradFi market makers, crypto asset managers, hedge funds, family offices and intermediaries.
- Proven sales or business development experience in the crypto or financial industry.
- Experience in engaging with financial regulators.
- Demonstrable go-to-market experience.
- Self-motivator who routinely sets and exceeds their own goals.
- Start-up mindset: self-starter with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment.
**Skills**:
- Understanding of trading in spot crypto and derivatives.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and speaking in public forums.
- Exceptional English language verbal/written communication, strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and solid attention to detail.
- Ability to work across time zones.
