Assistant Director, Healthy Food

You will be part of HPB’s Healthy Food and Dining Division which aims to make healthier dining choices as integral part of Singaporeans’ lives. Through our programmes, such as the Healthier Choice Symbol (HCS) Programme, the Healthier Dining Programme (HDP), Eat, Drink, Shop Healthy (EDSH) or nutrition education and outreach efforts, we enable Singaporeans make healthier dining choices easily, regardless of whether they choose to dine in or out.

**What you will be working on**

As a part of the Healthy Food and Dining Division, you will have the opportunity to drive and implement national strategies and innovative programs to help Singapore residents make healthier dietary choices. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to increase consumer demand of healthier choice consumer packaged and healthier choice meals in the marketplace.

To be effective, you have to be a dynamic team player. As a team lead for planning and strategic projects, you will be division planning role to design, build innovative solutions to drive adoption of healthier food products across diverse F&B settings, including such as hawker centres, food courts and coffeeshops, etc.

**Strategic Programs/ Projects development and implementation**:
**Digital transformation**
- Supervise digital transformation projects e.g. Eat Drink Shop Healthy Point-of-sales solutions
- Supervise data management and integration across HFD program to support HPB long term plan to consumer-centric health promotion
- Key liaison with CIOO to ensure IT matters are handled with minimum time and project delay (eg new projects such as data management and analytics, POS configuration etc)

**WOG strategic initiatives e.g. HealthierSG**
- Work closely with inter-agency, across HPB division to develop, implement & review food program aim at targeted segment to adopt healthy eating habits

**Public Education e.g. Nutrition Literacy**
- Supervise the development of public education campaign to support policy directions and promote healthy food and dining programs

**Lead in Board-wide or Department Business Efficiency Improvement Projects**
- Champion mega tender projects for board-wide utilisation eg nutrition services, audit & surveillance
- Champion corporate business operations and governance initiatives eg data management, operation risk management

**Corporate and department planning**
- Support and ensure timely report and knowledge management to the department to meet corporate planning, reporting and reviews needs
- Report department’s targets and achievements at Division and Board level, e.g.

Dashboard reporting, Management Reports, Annual Report, Workplan, KPI, COS,

Budget
- Manage a team of managers in planning team

**What we are looking for**
- More than 7-10 years of working experience, preferably in the area of corporate

planning and strategic projects management
- Experience in marketing, business development and collaborations across multiple stakeholders or cross-functional teams and change management
- Experience in digital product development such as app and systems development will be preferred
- Familiar with corporate governance process eg data management, operations risk management process will be an added advantage
- A track record of working with diverse partners and complex tech-based projects
