To be effective, you must be a dynamic team player. Together with other team members, you will be leading programmes that encourage healthier food and beverage choices in schools, and help students cultivate healthy eating habits from young. You should possess strong project management and communication skills, be able to effect change and garner resources.

**What you will be working on**
You will drive strategic school programmes and initiatives to achieve HPB’s objective of school health promotion:
- Review and recommend revisions to the school nutrition guidelines to align with national directives (e.g. Healthier Choice Symbol, nutri-grade labelling), and for clear and efficient on-ground implementation.
- Conduct relevant studies or surveys to understand students’ dietary consumption in schools.
- Review and conceptualise effective programmes and guidelines to build and strengthen an ecosystem that encourages healthy dietary habits among students.
- Provide and develop nutrition content in resources to communicate health messages to parent, students and educators.
- Contribute to key projects and initiatives to effect change, garner resources, and manage people and projects to support national initiatives such as HealthierSG, corporate initiatives such as Operation excellence, customer experience and precision public health
- Represent the Board to present programme-related learnings to external partners, delegates, educators and/or students.
- Track and evaluate the progress and impact of the school nutrition programmes.
- Ensure that the related key performance indicators are met with appropriate utilisation of budget.
- Report regularly on progress and developments to management and teams.

**What we are looking for**
- Strong competency in project management and project operations.
- Strong judgement and critical reasoning skills, with the ability to navigate new situations using data and analytics findings.
- Creative and possess good analytical skills and yet is attentive to details.
- Possess strong verbal, written and presentation skills coupled with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Possess excellent interpersonal & relationship building skills to maintain collaborative partnerships and communicate effectively at all levels.

**Requirements**:

- Basic degree qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Food Nutrition, Science and Technology or any health-related discipline).
- More than 3 years of related working experience; including experience in working with diverse partners.
- A good understanding of and interest in the school landscape and food scene. - Previous experience in data analytics will be preferable.
