**Responsibilities**:
Client Care
- Assist in the maintenance rehabilitation of clients.
- Assist physiotherapist and occupational therapist in implementing the rehabilitation programme of clients.
- Assist client in their ambulation and movement in the centre and during transferring up and down from transport.
- Assist and guide clients in the performance of their prescribed exercise routines and programmes.
- Lead clients in group exercise and cognitive session.
- Provide assistance to clients’ basic needs such as toilet, meals, etc.
- Provide basic nursing care to clients.
- Co-ordinate with other colleagues to provide quality care to clients.
Administration
- Responsible to and liaise with Supervisor in all matters pertaining to administration.
- Report clients’ progress to Supervisor.
- Maintain client’s therapy and/or nursing records
- Engage in administrative duties relevant to departmental work
Centre Care / Maintenance
- Maintain rehabilitation equipment and reports malfunctioning or wear and tear to Duty Supervisor.
- Ensure that all electrical items are switched off before leaving the centre.
- Ensure that all entrances are locked after end of the day.
Others
- Assist in general duties of all staff involved at the centre.
- Responds in an emergency
- Establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships clients and staff.
- Attend and participate in in-service education programmes
- Report to Supervisor of any incident or injury sustained by clients that may occur during the course of working.
- Any other duties may be assigned from time to time.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum GCE “O” or “N” Levels with at least 1 year working experience on patient care.
- Capacity to meet the physical demands of the position which includes a broad range of activities, e.g. stooping, bending, lifting, grip strength and other physical requirements related to the role.
- Ability to contribute to a positive team culture where members strive for highest standards of service delivery.
