**A. JOB SCOPE/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Manage media-related events/activities**:
1.1 Write and distribute media communication materials, including media advisories, media releases, speeches, and anticipated Q&A.
1.2 Facilitate media-related requests to ensure accurate representation of our organisation in the media. Ensures that all materials present a clear, unified, and positive image for SPD.
1.3 Partner and provide support to key stakeholders to conceptualise and execute integrated communications plan to achieve the company’s business objectives by leveraging various communications platforms and tools (digital, online and media).
1.4 Work and coordinate with programme managers to prepare media responses and translate them into vernacular languages, if needed. Identify and prepare beneficiaries, caregivers, and SPD spokespersons for media interviews.
1.5 Provide media and communications support for events and projects across platforms.
1.6 Proactively identify opportunities to share our stories using traditional, digital, and social media channels.
1.7 Organise media events or activities to support corporate announcements and partnerships.
1.8 Play a proactive role in relationship building and stewardship with media to expand and deepen media networks.
- **Manage the production of SPD publications and marketing collateral**
2.1 Develop editorial line-ups, write and collaborate with stakeholders for regular publication of articles about SPD, as well as the production of publicity and branding collateral.
2.2 Curate content for monthly EDM and broadcast to Friends of SPD.
2.3 Produce the annual report from conceptualisation to copywriting and working with stakeholders and vendors.
- **Digital Content Creation**
3.1 Contribute to the team’s work of creating digital assets including videos and infographics to raise awareness and garner support for SPD and our cause.
3.2 Assist to build the depository of human interest/ success stories to garner awareness and enhance advocacy work of SPD.
- **Media monitoring and tracking**
4.1 Ensure department reports are updated including publicity summary, media requests, social media postings, etc.
4.2 Daily news and issues monitoring. Consolidate news coverage.
- **Ensure correct and proper use of the SPD brand**
5.1 Act as brand custodian and ensure that our brand image across all platforms is aligned with the corporate identity guidelines.
5.2 Support the development of brand guidelines.
- **Corporate and admin support**
6.2 Host corporate visitors.
- Support the department in the development and implementation of communications plans and campaigns, public education initiatives and other duties assigned time to time.

**B) JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENT**
- Minimum diploma in mass communications or mass media related.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant content writing and corporate communication working experience preferred.
- Strong demonstrable writing and editing skills.
- Fluent in English language and proficient in Chinese language to handle translation of communication materials.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in media relations.
- Be creative and have a nose for a good story.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with social media, publication design and video editing.
- A team player who contributes to a supportive team environment by providing support and back-up to the team.
