Why this role?

In this role, I will spearhead the enhancement of field and safety competence in Malaysia and KSEA through data-driven approaches, leveraging KPIs and insights. Collaboration with local Learning and Development teams, field trainers, and operations stakeholders will be key to ensuring impactful and relevant training. Additionally, I will oversee Training Center operations and act as a strategic business partner, providing learning consultancy and delivering L&D services for various programs catering to both KONE personnel and subcontractors, spanning induction to development.

What will you be doing?- Lead the development of cluster/FL field competence using a data-driven approach.- Analyze data to optimize field training impact and resource utilization.- Provide visibility to Area order book, FYCOR, COR, and safety KPIs.- Lead cluster/FL planning for Training Center training recipients, locations, and timing.- Manage all Training Centers in the geography.- Ensure long-term commitment and motivation of the field trainer pool.- Provide field training insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.- Lead operations steering for L&D in the cluster/FL.- Partner with the global learning offering team for input on competence development.- Ensure process discipline, data accuracy, and HR compliance for field competence development.- Make decisions on L&D KPIs, CAPEX budgeting, and local execution of learning programs.- Monitor performance metrics including certifications, external spending, utilization, and data quality.- Master’s degree or 5-7 years in Learning & Development, with strong data management skills.- A recognized leader with influencing skills.- Own FL Training Plans and ensure operational excellence across the region/geography.- Contribute to local LT development, learner-centric culture, and global L&D impact.- Measure upskilling reach, NPS for Field training, and campaign execution.- Ensure mandatory certifications, manage external spending, and evaluate internal trainer pool strength.- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.- Proven facilitation, training, and business partnering skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to a multinational environment.- Oversee the training plans for Malaysia and partner with L&D BP's in the geographies to align and support deployment for technical training with the field training network. We must ensure that the L&D BP's in the geographies are not dumping their technical training needs on this role alone, and this is where partnering is needed.- Deploys FL Training Plans, provides L&D services, and executes L&D plans with impact for both technical and non-technical competence development together as One P&C in the region/geography.

Are you the one?- Hold a master's degree or possess 5-7 years of experience in Learning & Development.- Demonstrate excellent data management skills and recognized leadership abilities.- Lead operational excellence in cluster/FL field competence development through a data-driven approach.- Ensure the long-term commitment and motivation of the field trainer pool.- Provide valuable field training insights to business stakeholders.- Take ownership of FL Training Plans and contribute to global L&D impact.
