**We are looking for a Passionate IT Manager (Engagement - Data & Advocacy)
**About Us**

The mission of Housing & Development Board (HDB) is to provide affordable, quality housing and a great living environment where communities thrive. The Data Science and AI Centre of Excellence (DSAI CoE) supports HDB in achieving its mission by tapping on the richness of its data to tackle meaningful business problems. As an Engagement Manager you will be part of HDB’s DSAI CoE helping to drive and grow the data and analytics culture in HDB.

**What Will You Do?**
- Drive programmes and community efforts with overall aim to engage community of data science and artificial intelligence (DS&AI) enthusiasts and practitioners across HDB.
- Plan and strategize the overall community engagement efforts.
- Work with academic institutions, training vendors and partners to conduct appropriate activities for the DS&AI community e.g. training workshops, sharing sessions, masterclasses.
- Source for speakers both within public sector and the industry for community meetups where appropriate.
- Interact with community members to grow and keep the community engaged through various publicity strategy including but not limited to EDM, polls, focus group sessions, collaboration tools (e.g. MS Teams) etc.
- Plan and run events such as meetups, competitions, seminars, to raise awareness and level up capabilities of HDB officers in DS&AI.
- Play an active role in engaging business units to partake in and contribute to the community activities.
- Manage the community portal and knowledge hub, including but not limited to, sourcing for useful resources (articles, videos, tutorials) on Data Science, moderating forum activity etc.
- Manage all aspects of the assigned projects independently, including but not limited to programme execution, budgeting.

**You will be a Great Fit if you have**:

- Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Communications or equivalent.
- Demonstrate some experience in community engagement and organisation of events.
- Confident in public speaking, emceeing events to a diverse audience group from staff level to senior executives.
- Technical skills and prior experience in engaging public officers and government agencies on projects and collaborations is not a requirement but will be an added advantage.
- Passion for learning and helping people learn about Data Science
- Excellent communication skills in terms of both speaking and writing.
