You'll lead technology in your region for VMLY&R, working with senior leaders to establish a forward-thinking and multi-year technology strategy, that drives innovation, differentiation and simplification.

You'll have a similar role in another company or be ready to step up into this role because your experience means you're ready for the challenge of leading a brand in region for the world's largest marketing services organisation.

You'll work with the Global and Regional executive teams within VMLY&R and be the voice of technology and their technology partner.

You'll consult, develop and agree the strategy for the business, evolve roadmaps and work with the APAC Strategic Business Partner for the Creative Architype and Creative Product teams to deploy in your line of business.

You'll lead sub-regional and country-based teams of business partners, who are your voice in those arenas and work with you to deliver the technology strategy for these locations of business.

You'll directly partner with peers in the other regions and Operating Groups in the Creative Architype to combine platforms, solutions and investments.

Where needed, you'll agree the development of unique products, with an eye to them scaling for greater benefit around Asia and the Pacific region and the creative businesses at large

**What you'll be doing**:

- Leads IT Business Partnering within Asia Pacific for VMLY&R
- Owns and manages relationships with VMLY&R senior leaders and agency stakeholders, representing VMLY&R APAC within WPP IT and vice versa, feeding into the Creative Architype plans and priorities.
- Be the strategic touch point for local market leaders in region, to capture and shape business demand for new or changed products and services in the VMLY&R agencies 'patch' - ensuring their needs are considered and proposals are shaped, sized, aligned and prioritised and fed into the Creative architype initiatives, focus and direction
- Liaise with the Regional Strategic Business Partner and the Portfolio Lead for the Creative Archetype - and relevant supporting WPP IT functions - to collate, size and align technology demand in support of value-based outcomes, engaging back with stakeholders on WPP IT prioritisation decisions
- Act as a point of escalation and un-blocker for the VMLY&R patch's business context - supporting IT project delivery, technical decisions, etc. - but re-routing any service or support challenges via the Creative Archetype's Operations Assurance function / Service Management Lead.
- Maintain a lens on the value and commercial impact of both proposals and the reality of WPP IT activity and plans as it relates to VMLY&R - working with the Region's Strategic Business Partner, IT Operations and the Portfolio Lead to ensure transparency of value contribution and IT spend
