**Overall Purpose**
Performs the managerial role of document control activities for all projects and directly supervises Document Control Leads and Document Controllers. Implements and directs the Company’s documentation process to ensure continuos compliance with internal procedures, regulatory, contract and client requirements.
Focal point for Global Procedural Development team that manages registration of Global and Corporate Standards in D2 portal.
**Responsibilites**
- Responsible for management of the Document Control functions of the Project that ensures processes are implemented in accordance with corporate, regulatory and clients requirements and procedures.
- Take the lead in the development & preparation the Document Control Procedures for the projects. Review monitor and enforce systems, policies and procedures.
- Applies well established techniques or procedures for document management and continually evaluates the effectiveness of the document control systems.
- Develops, maintains and oversees the preparation of projects document deliverable KPI reports, ensuring the highest degree of accuracy.
- Works with the Engineering and Project team in the final hand over of document deliverables.
- Guides project team and resolves documentation related conflicts with the help of senior engineering management team.
- Works with IES team for process enhancements initiatives and resolution of DM systems level issues.
- Performs as the Department’s representative in Company, Client and Regulatory audits related to Company and Project documentations.
- Manages the human resource functions of the department including hiring, training and performance appraisals.
- Appoints Document Control Lead in accordance with criticality and mobilises the document control team to ensure efficient and affective support to project.
- Provide Documentum training to new joiners, other Modec Entities, Suppliers and Subcontractors. Conducts orientation to project team personnel on documentation aspects and participates in kick off meetings with Subcontractors and key Vendors.
- Focal point for Global Procedural Development team that manages registration of Global and Corporate Standards in D2 portal.
- Global process owner of maintaining the Taxonomy and assigned as the IES Global Lead in Documentum CP & D2.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in related discipline. Additional specialized courses in database management preferred.
- Minimum 10 years relevant DC experience in oil and gas sector involving major projects with broad knowledge in developing Document Control processes and procedures.
- Minimum 5 years Supervisory or Management experience is required.
- Highly innovative to develop and enhance business processes and workflows.
- Trained in EDMS software
- Excellent in working with spreadsheets due to complexity of putting up information from various sources as required by project management team.
