**What You’ll Do**

In this vital managerial role, you will primarily be responsible for managing, overseeing, and directing the IOT Sales for APJC. You’ll govern the end to end sales motion and be accountable for the region revenue, top line growth, profitability and pipeline creation. You’ll lead and drive profitable growth and define strategies and maintain customer relationships. You’ll handle and allocates the team’s resources, be responsible for their success, growth and career and establish targets and strategic directions. You’ll lead strategic key deals, sales incentive targets, budget definitions, and individual performance management targets. You will be responsible for running and directing business opportunities and for the business within APJC and be part of the IOT sales WW leadership team.

Specifically, as the IoT Sales Director, you will perform the following managerial duties:

- Run and direct project executive steering.
- Govern and handle the forecast and pipeline for the organization.
- Define and lead sales and deliver strategic directions.
- Lead and direct meetings with external executives.
- Handle and oversee internal partners and project resources.
- Be responsible for the resolution of issues.
- Running, directing, and developing a team of supervisory and professional employees.
- You will exercise a high level of discretionary and managerial authority in discharging your duties.
- You will have the authority to assign and delegate work assignments among the team members and decide upon weekly and monthly targets. You will lead the interviewing and screening process; hiring and firing decisions; talent management including promotions and salary reviews.

**Who You'll Work With**

You will work independently and exercise discretion over how you conduct day-to-day operations of this business. You will have the discretionary authority to make managerial decisions and discretion over your day-to-day duties, and the day-to-day duties of your team. You’ll set up and delegate work streams and exercise wide latitude in formulating and executing strategies to grow the business and generate the expected revenue.

Critical Skills / Experience:

- BA/BS or equivalent.
- MBA preferred.
- 5-10 years senior management, 8+ years of executive experience selling solutions, in-depth understanding of networking and software technologies, previous sales experience, revenue responsibility.
