**APJC Presales Lead, Unstructured Data Storage (UDS)**
This position is a key member of the UDS Dell | Presales Engineering executive leadership team. This leader will oversee the development and engagement of Systems Engineers who have responsibility for educating, consulting, assessing, architecting, and defending the UDS portfolio of offers with technical decision makers across all business segments. The role will require significant coordination with the Core Account and Specialty/BU selling teams to align technical resources that will enable the successful execution of sales initiatives. Finally, this leader will play an integral role partnering with product teams, marketing, the CoC, and engineering resources to bring the maximum value of our UDS offers to market.

**Role**:

- Assists the overall APJC UDS strategy but drives the supporting UDS Presales strategy - including organizational structure, go-to-market, and business development for the UDS portfolio, highly influencing Presales resources across the ecosystem of sellers.
- Partners at an executive level with UDS GTM leadership and “core” country/division/regions to support and influence programs aligned to the UDS portfolio.
- Helps enable executive selling teams to understand the Unstructured storage industry landscape, problem statements, verticals, and use cases for which we can deliver proven solutions and business outcomes.
- Represent the full Unstructured portfolio including hardware, software, services delivered through varying consumption models and utility agreements
- Works alongside sales management to evaluate the overall health of the APJC UDS organization, identify opportunities for improvement, and execute initiatives to exceed annual operating plan
- In partnership with UDS Sales, accountable for APJC UDS revenue and margin
- An executive leader in presales, responsible for global teams of teams, who directs the hiring, on-boarding, development, and performance management of the UDS Presales team in strong partnership with Sales and other Presales stakeholders.
- Works with entire APJC UDS Presales team to maintain a great employee experience that embodies the Dell Technologies Culture Code - finding ways to improve productivity, maximize UDS SE contribution, maintain a work/life balance, and provide a world class customer experience
- Accountable to Dell Technologies 2030 goals specifically focused on Diversity and Inclusion in UDS Presales.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leads and manages Sr. leadership talent within the UDS Presales team. Deploy initiatives to shape technical expertise of the team to meet the latest UDS workloads and use cases
- Continuously develop UDS leader talent to meet current and future business needs, and to motivate, attract, and retain the best talent in the industry throughout their respective organizations.
- Build strategies to advance the technical capabilities of ecosystem sellers (internal/external) who have extended responsibility for the UDS portfolio
- Partner closely with executive stakeholders to balance UDS Presales coverage across the greatest opportunities to achieve AOP
- Work directly with sales executives to align technical resources, support the divisions go-to-market, and drive revenue/margin across the UDS portfolio
- Collaborate intimately with product, marketing, and CoC executives to meet the AOP objectives of Dell Unstructured Data Storage.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Strong technology background, preferably with PowerScale and ObjectScale, with 15+ years of sales/presales experience representing IT solutions.
- 8-10+ years of leadership and people development experience - as a people leader and ‘leader of leaders’. Proven experience building high performing and diverse teams to sales, presales, and organizational goals.
- Strong business, technology, and executive acumen demonstrated across internal and external stakeholders
- Proven operational leadership and sales partnership. Has led an organizational strategy with initiatives, objectives, measurements, and outcomes
- Proven track record as a technology leader with success managing in a matrix management structure
- Must have a proven ability to lead change
