The Head of Human serves as a member of the Singapore leadership team and is responsible for the development and execution of all HR related activities at the site. He/she would establish HR strategies and drives solutions and services on the site in alignment with business goals and objectives. The incumbent would also oversee human resource activities such as employee engagement, recruitment, performance management, talent management and organization development.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide HR leadership, consultation and support to the site leadership team, line managers and employees
- Translate and implement globally defined HR strategies into locally applicable action plans
- Develop the change management strategy at site(s) to support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives
- Establish HR operational plan aligned to the site business priorities and implement accordingly
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve employee engagement and site efficiency
- Establish and drive organization and talent development actions to ensure strong and robust pipeline of talent exists to fill both evolving local and global site staffing needs
- Drives the performance management and review cycle and scrutinises key peformance indicators throughout the organization
- Monitor HR effectiveness by tracking & reporting key measures; take corrective action as needed
- Promote and augment feedback tools and mechanisms to drive continuous improvement of HR services
- Develops and manage effective communication channels on site to convey company’s policies and practices
**Key Requirements**:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in HR business partnering or working as a HR Generalist
- Experienced in senior stakeholder management
- Good experience in a Senior HR leader role managing a team consisting of several HR Business Partners responsible for various business units
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing multi-national firm would be highly valued
