**Regional Category Manager (Dairy, Health & Nutrition), APAC**:

- You will be in the driver seat with this focal point position defining the future 5 years strategy plan supporting business growth ambitions while driving the initiatives towards that growth plan by providing value proposition & Unique Selling Points (USPs) which are supported by Symrise APAC 360 DECODE to customers requests markets & business intelligence as well as working closely with cross functional teams in Marketing, Sensory/Markets Consumer Insights, Portfolio & Product Line Management, Technical and R&T etc with this position reporting to the Regional Category Director, APAC.**The Position**: Strategy Definition & Alignment**
- Provides the framework for the strategy sub region sessions, consolidating the information required to support decisions, coordinating all areas participation in the process, facilitating the procedure, and guaranteeing the results.
- Follow up on High Growth & Critical Core Customer plans with the Account Managers, facilitating areas participation and alignment
- Facilitate Areas plans aligned to sub region and Customer plans inputs
- Safeguard the strategy definition, by identifying areas, situations or activities outside the aligned priorities, and requesting the involved area the actions to maintain de strategy. (Strategy Tracking Dashboard)

**Business Opportunities Generation and Management**
- Identify along with Sales, business opportunities to investigate and attack for each customer.
- Consolidate business opportunities from several customers, that are outside AM initial scope.
- Identify companies that might accept similar Customer Value Propositions to winning products in any sub region (Lift & Shift)
- Identify companies and opportunities where Symrise capabilities and technologies offer a value proposition
- Gather information on customers and competitors, to identify new value propositions in the market

**Category Needs Anticipation**
- Consolidate information from MSCI, R&T, Global Platforms, Regulatory, Procurement, Global Key Accounts, Portfolio, and others, to promote with customers in campaigns.
- Develop along with customer teams, value propositions for business opportunities, and promote to the customers with similar needs.
- Maintain contact with customers in strategy, to understand their priorities and evaluate opportunities.

**Growth Plans Development**
- Locally identify high potential opportunities that might lead to new growth plans.
- Identify gaps, where we need to develop solutions for the market needs.
- Actively participate in the commercialization process of Growth Plan Initiatives with areas support. Ecosystems Support
- Liaise with Ecosystem regional responsible and local area teams, to facilitate the creation of partnerships required to attack high potential opportunities.
- Minimum BSc Degree in Business/Marketing/Food Science/Chemistry or equivalent disciplines.
- More than 5 years working experience in relevant positions within the Ingredients Industry, Flavor industry, FMCG, or related industries.
- Possess excellent working knowledge in Foods (with strong preferences in Dairy), functional ingredients & flavor coupled with both technical & commercial perspective while having worked in a Global matrix organisation with a proven track record.
- Does possess a self-starter, strong commercial savviness being action oriented, customer centric driving for excellence with strong project management skills.
- Comfortable working through influence & change, a team player and ability to roll up one sleeves to build sustainable business.
- Demonstrated exposure working in a diverse cultural environment is a strong added environment.
