**Head of Payment Partnerships, APAC**

Your team will work with commercial, product, underwriting and compliance (?) and other internal teams to grow and ensure the success of the products offered through our commercial partnerships. You will drive the regional payment partner strategy together with the product team and translate this into a global strategy with your counterparts in other regions

The role requires the ability to work across commercial, technical, and financial topics. Stakeholder management, both internally and externally is at the heart of this role and key to the success of the payment partnership strategy.

**What you’ll do**
- Take end-to-end responsibility for all payment Partners: Act as the leader for all stakeholders engaging with Adyen Local Payment Methods products,
- Motivate team members and encourage creativity while understanding training needs. Provide coaching in areas including but not limited to: strategic account planning, contract negotiations, product roadmap discussions, and executive engagement
- Serve as a senior stakeholder, providing strategic and consultative advice to drive and fulfill the global payments strategy of our merchants
- Set clear individual and team goals focused on commercial growth and operational efficiency. Report on performance and metrics at an executive level
- Create an inspiring and collaborative team environment with an open communication/feedback culture
- Recruit new team members in line with the Adyen culture and required skills

**Who you are**
- An energetic leader with a proven commercial edge, entrepreneurial track record and strong negotiation skills
- Excited to lead and manage time-sensitive, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial and collaborative environment
- An excellent communicator and team player with strong management skills and technical aptitude
- In this role, you will be the face of Adyen for some of APAC’s largest payments companies. You will provide QBRs and be the key contact for partners.
- Exceptional people skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both internally and externally
- Global Perspective: Ability to work seamlessly with a global, multicultural team
- You have at least 5 years of experience managing teams (preferably in the payments sector)
- Deep knowledge of the payments landscape, with the critical thinking skills to comprehend and interpret emerging trends.
