**About the role**
- Manage & drive Global CAP product new development projects & continues improvement programs to achieve annual KPIs.
- Manage existing sustaining & legacy products for Global CAP group.
- Manage all Aftermarket parts product documentation, certification, and drawing.
- Manage regular alignment discussion and communication with Carrier inter-departments & external suppliers. Timely disseminate Aftermarket products information & new development within Carrier’s Service group.
- Manage monthly CAP Engineering review and represent CAP in all Aftermarket parts related QRB.
- Manage all aftermarket trial, product testing & certification by working closely with Sustaining Engineering, QA, Material & Product Marketing team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As an Assistant Manager, Aftermarket Products, you’ll be responsible for:

- Develops Aftermarket product strategies by conducting market research together with Field Service Engineers & Aftermarket Parts team; generating product requirements; determining specifications, compatibility & pricing.
- Take lead in understanding customers' needs by specifying the product research needed to obtain market information. Recommends the scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
- Address market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products. Work closely with Sales & Marketing team to provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
- Brings new products to market by analysing proposed product requirements and product development programs; understand industry standard requirement, update all product documentation, preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and product suppliers. Integrate new product launch plans by working closely Global CAP & Marketing team.
- Take lead in Aftermarket parts product documentation by managing all updates, supersedes, engineering drawing, industry standard (HS code, UL, CE, CCC or others) and assigning of HS code & part numbers.
- Set targets / KPIs on new product development and track the progress closely. Provide update & achievements by reporting monthly performance & KPIs.
- Take lead in managing Aftermarket new product Quality Review Board - QRB requirements. Drive alignment with global Aftermarket / Service team by ensuring timely disseminate of technical information & product update. Communicate closely with Global CAP Sales support & planner & regional team.
- Representing Aftermarket team to communicate & coordinate closely with Sustaining Engineering & Materials team to ensure all product testing & qualification are properly specified.
- Provides regular update to management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, answering questions and requests. Work closely with Global & Regional Planners to facilitate inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules.

**Requirements**:

As a minimum you must have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or technical related field.
- Broad-based refrigeration or mechanical product experience preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Product Management.
- Good judgment, proven responsibility and leadership skills, and strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across various business units.
- Demonstrated root cause problem solving capabilities preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to build rapport with internal and external business partners.
- Have integrity, a good interpersonal skill and a strong team player.
- Resourceful, result-oriented and positive mind set.
