We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager, Global Sales to lead and oversee relationships with clients from MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and Luxury segments across the assigned source markets in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, this role is essential for driving revenue growth, enhancing the visibility of Shangri-La’s luxury properties, and fostering strong relationships within the region’s MICE and Luxury clients.
As a Senior Manager, Global Sales (Singapore), We Rely on You To
**Sales Strategy Development**: Design and implement a comprehensive sales plan targeting clients from MICE and Luxury segments from the assigned geo source markets, maximizing revenue potential for Shangri-La’s properties worldwide. Ensure alignment with global sales objectives and company goals
**Account Management**: Oversee and grow existing MICE and Luxury accounts, ensuring excellent client satisfaction, retention, and continued revenue growth
**New Business Development**: Identify new business opportunities within the MICE and Luxury segments, creating a strong pipeline of potential clients and partnerships to drive future revenue streams
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Collaborate with internal teams, including Hotels, HQ Sales and the Global Sales Teams network, to develop tailored initiatives and offerings that meet the needs of MICE organizers and Luxury agencies
**Sales Event & Promotion Management**: Plan, execute, and support sales events and promotions targeting the MICE and Luxury segments. Ensure the successful implementation of such initiatives and strong clients participation
**Industry Representation**: Represent Shangri-La at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows throughout the assigned geo source markets in Southeast Asia, ensuring the company is well-positioned in the regional MICE and luxury markets
We Are Looking for Someone With
Minimum 5 years of experience at a Regional / Global Sales Office or at hotel property, with a proven focus on the MICE segment
Proven expertise in relationship management and business development in the MICE and Luxury segments.
Strategic and tactical thinker - ability to develop strategic sales plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets and deliver projects on time
Excellent negotiation, presentation and influencing abilities to secure new business opportunities.
Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients at all levels
Ability to travel overseas to support regional sales efforts and relationship building, when required
Proficiency in hospitality CRM systems and sales automation tools
