Reports To: Managing director and tax director

**Job Summary**:
The Client Accounting Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the financial
accounts of the company's clients. This position involves overseeing a team of accountants to
ensure that the clients’ financial statements and tax returns are completed accurately, timely
and compliant with the regulator of that jurisdiction. The Client Accounting Manager also
collaborates with clients to provide advisory and make recommendations for best practice.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Client Account Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of

contact
- Understand clients' objectives and align accounting practices according to the clients’

requirements
2. **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and mentor the tax and accounting team.
- Delegate tasks, set goals, and provide guidance to ensure efficient and accurate client

accounting services.
3. **Financial and tax Reporting**:

- Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely preparation of financial

statements and tax returns, book keeping to clients.
- Review accounting and tax work performed by the accounting and tax team to ensure

they meet clients' needs and comply with accounting standards.
- Ensure quality work and excellent service and manage turnaround time of the

accounting and tax team.
4. **Compliance and Regulations**:

- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry standards to

ensure compliance.
- Advise clients on financial compliance matters and tax planning strategies.
- Ability to advise clients on accounting matters and both personal and corporate tax

matters

5. **Process Improvement**:

- Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and systems to enhance

efficiency and accuracy including identifying the best available cloud accounting
software.
- Implement best practices to streamline workflows.

6. **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with internal corporate services team to ensure a coordinated approach

to client financial management.
- To be the key contact point between the management and stakeholders with the

accounting and tax team

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualifications (ACCA,

ICAEW,CA etc....)
- Exudes confidence, strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven experience in accounting and tax with prior experience in a supervisory or

managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and tax laws.
- Adept in using accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
