If yes, this role might be for you The Technical Enablement team is focused on the rapidly growing industry software landscape focused on driving value around Digital Transformation and the Internet of Things (IOT). We are looking for an experienced MES professional who will work to build pre and post sales technical competencies within our global and regional System Integrators to support successful customer engagements and revenue growth at scale.

This role will specifically focus on enabling partners to bring value to customers with the Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform includes MES, ERP, supply chain management, Industrial IoT, and analytics as part of the Rockwell Automation portfolio.

The MES Partner Technical Enablement Consultant is focused on supporting partners in their initial customer pursuits acting as a trusted advisor, and an extended team member to:

- support their capability to position, sell, propose and execute initial implementations;
- aligned to the portfolio components defined by the Market Access Team.

Reporting to the Manager - Global Manager, Partner Enablement, you will be providing pre-sales support (Domain Knowledge, Technical and Architectural) to ensure a consistent and efficient handover to help drive these engagements to a successful closure.
- This role will be dedicated to supporting the Global Sales & Marketing - Market Access team focused on our Global Systems Integrators, Regional Systems Integrators.
- This role will provide technical expertise to targeted, global partners in the following activities:

- Mentor & Educate our Partners on our Portfolio with specific focus on PLEX, cloud native ERP and MES with an understanding of how this offering drives value with the rest of the Rockwell Automation portfolio
- Support Partner sales strategies, plans and execution
- Prepares technical materials, presentations, and tools to improve partner effectiveness.
- Determine technology portfolio associated with Use Case(s) identified during Partner sales pursuit
- Support collaboration with the competency teams to define the partner training material that needs to be developed and delivered
- Support development/validation of integrated reference architectures when adopting solutions provided by Partners
- In partnership with the Global Manager, Partner Technical Enablement, define and deliver:

- Partner Mentoring Program in combination with global and regional technical consultants
- Technical Mentoring on the Rockwell Automation MES and IoT portfolio for Regional and Global System Integrator Partners
- Travel to site working with Partners on positioning, quoting, architecting and guidance on delivery best practices
- Develop/deliver standard workshops and methodologies to be delivered globally and in a consistent manner

**Qualifications**
- MES and SaaS PreSales and Consulting/Implementation experience with a project execution background ; specific experience with PLEX Smat Manufacutring Platform (Cloud native -MES, ERP, supply chain management, Industrial IoT, and analytics) and/or PharmaSuite, FactoryTalk Production Center desired
- IOT and/or IIOT experience is also a plus
- Partner enablement experience - proven success working with partners to drive successful sales and implementation outcomes
- Confident and effective collaborator, able to drive results in a matrixed organization.
- Customer focused attitude with Partner Acumen
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Receives guidelines and goals on new assignments and is expected to develop their own plan to achieve these goals; ability to support multiple partners in parallel.
- Ability to manage an ad-hoc team of individuals in order to meet a project goal.
- Stays current and be conversant with the latest relevant technologies and competitive offerings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a continuous improvement attitude
- Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and is a self-sufficient knowledge worker.

**Additional Qualifications**
- BA/BS preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management, CIS or related field, or equivalent experience in implementing, consulting, or supporting an ERP system
- 3+ years of experience within the manufacturing industry / operations and experience implementing an ERP/MES
- The ability to configure software to meet customer requirements, troubleshoot and solve issue
