The following activities will help the Regional Sales Manager Ship Product line achieve the unit’s objectives for order intake, revenues, profitability, and market penetration in SEA (South East Asia):
- By locating and managing opportunities in specific sectors and regions, you can: Promote and sell the company’s current software, Ship Manager, Navigator Port, and connected services;
- Professionally and successfully manage the entire sales process;
- Participate in sales forecasting and planning;
- Consistently build and deliver an accurate sales pipeline; and
- Manage RFx processes and other tender processes.
- Actively engage with the sales team and other coworkers, sharing ideas for both short-term and long-term sales and marketing plans.
- Develop and grow relationships within the global sales team and actively collaborate and share customer intelligence and opportunities.
- Participate in global sales team gatherings and sales initiatives.
- Support and promote established relationships with industry and solution partners to maximize sales and maintain a leading position in the market.
- Lead or/and participate in contract negotiations.
**Requirements**:
- Outstanding English communication skills, both verbally and in writing (Chinese language are beneficial)
- Proven track record in industrial or technical sales consistently meeting or exceeding increasing sales goals;
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in cross-functional selling with the ability to present oneself in a professional manner;
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally;
- Thorough understanding and execution of negotiating and closing techniques;
- It will be advantageous to have knowledge of the maritime industry, ship management workflows, or related software systems and services.
