About the Opportunity

August Society is a sustainable swimwear, apparel and accessories brand for the whole family based in Singapore. We’re looking for an assistant operations manager to work at our retail shops at Plaza Singapura and i12 Katong. Working 5 or 6 days per week.

Store hours are from 11AM - 9PM and will include a one hour break during these hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting customers at the stores, engaging in conversation and helping them with product recommendations and fitting
- Oversee staff schedule for the two stores (team of 1 FT and 4-5 PT across both stores)
- Maintain retail displays and instruct staff to replenish merchandise as required
- Liaising with operations to restock store; oversee staff inventory takes
- Instructing staff on store housekeeping
- Maintaining store SOP documents, training new staff as required and helping current staff when they have questions

**Requirements**:

- Outgoing personality, excellent customer service skills
- Past experience in a retail or customer service capacity required
- Past people management or leadership experience a bonus
- Organized, detail-oriented
