**Sales Strategy Development & Execution**:
- Assisting in developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Assisting in identifying target markets and developing sales plans to penetrate those markets.
- Assisting in analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
- Assisting in forecasting sales revenue and developing budgets.
**Team Leadership & Management**:
- Assisting in training and managing a high-performing sales team.
- Assisting in setting sales targets and performance goals for individual team members.
- Assisting in providing coaching, mentoring, and support to the sales team.
- Assisting in conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback.
- Assisting in motivating and inspiring the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
**Customer Relationship Management**:
- Assisting in building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, including retailers, wholesalers, and food service companies.
- Assisting in Identifying and developing new customer relationships.
- Assisting in negotiating contracts and pricing agreements.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
**Sales Operations & Administration**:
- Assisting in overseeing all sales activities, including order processing, delivery, and invoicing.
- Assisting in managing sales pipelines and tracking sales performance.
- Assisting in preparing sales reports and presentations.
- Assisting in monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the operations team to ensure product availability.
- Assisting in managing sales budgets and expenses.
**Market Research & Analysis**:
- Assisting in conducting market research to identify new product opportunities and market trends.
- Assisting in analyzing competitor activities and developing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Staying up-to-date on industry news and regulations.
**Collaboration & Communication**:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and procurement, to ensure alignment and achieve company goals.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
- Strong understanding of the fresh produce industry, including product knowledge, sourcing, and distribution.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
**Additional requirement**:
- Deliver reports and communicate directly to the Japanese HQ - proficiency in Japanese writing and speaking is essential.
