The Assistant Business Development (BDev) Manager is responsible for managing the organisation's sales growth. By analysing client segmentation and competitor landscape and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies and promotional campaigns activities to drive organisational sales growth.

He/She assumed the responsibility of maintaining and growing relationships with existing and new buyers, and manages a diverse group of stakeholders. The Assistant Sales Manager is expected to maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions to identify and develop the organisation's propositions and differentiators, and expand current business portfolio by identifying new business ventures locally

He/She is Innovative and resourceful, and demonstrates initiative in identifying new opportunities and converting them into actual sales. He builds good rapport with new and existing clients by pro-actively anticipating clients' needs and identifying business solutions to meet those needs. He networks extensively outside of the office to stay in close contact with the key industry stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**
- Analyse data and intelligence on competitor landscape and buyer demands to identify sales opportunities
- Develop business development team's plan to achieve cascaded growth targets
- Identify factors that affect growth performance based on buyer interactions and develop recommendations for improvement
- Develop targeted market segments according to specific buyer profiles
- Evaluate channel performances against growth target to drive business growth objectives
- Develop actions to address buyer requests that deviate from signed agreements
- Develop buyers relationship management programmes
- Develop insights from buyer feedback and market sentiments for further product enhancements
- Develop measures to enhance buyers’ retention and loyalty based on analysis of customer data and purchasing behaviour
- Establish trade opportunities that create value or are mutually beneficial for buyers and the organisation
- Facilitate organisational responses that can address buyer's dissatisfaction of goods
- Collaborate with buyer's to develop and execute sales strategies that converts into sales
- Diagnose clients’ technical product needs
- Facilitate negotiation of sale agreements for bigger accounts
- Identify high priority clients to facilitate follow-up discussions for sales closure and payment fulfillment activities
- Present proposals to buyers
- Present suitable technical solutions to address buyers' needs
- Review and accelerate payment processes for ad-hoc and/or non-routine payment issues with sellers
- Review buyer's overall business cycle to identify buyer's current and future business needs that can be fulfilled by business development team
- Enhance existing customer acquisition and retention plans
- Enhance networks and possible leads by attending industry programmes, events, or activities
- Establish buyer acquisition plans to acquire new buyers

**Essential Requirements**
- Bachelor Degree and/or experience in Supply Chain or FMCG or Retail
- Leadership experience in managing a team
- Strong networking and relationship management skills
- Strong negotiation abilities and a track record of customer acquisitions

**Desirable to have**
- Data driven and analytical mindset

**Salary**: $6,000.00 - $11,201.03 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Overtime pay
- Performance bonus

Work Location: In person
